~ Eleaf iCare ~ Holy Shit We Found It And It's Alive!

So I haven't seen my iCare in ages. Probably a couple of years actually. But lo and behold, the other day my wife actually found it! I've emptied it, as much as possible with a device like this, bought it a couple of new coils, and right now, to my enormous surprise, it's actually CHARGING while priming its' brand new coil. I can't believe that thing still works! I was sure it was dead. But I guess not! Can't wait to give it a spin, and quite possibly let my wife have it if she likes it. Look at this little wonder! I really don't see how this is possible, but colour me impressed, girls, cause I was not expecting this!

~ HTC Wildfire S ~

How in the fuck is this thing still alive?? I went through some old boxes the other day, and found this gem! Oh, this thing has caused me so many grey hairs and sweat and tears... I was so happy when I could finally replace it with another device, but my oh my, I've never had as much fun with anything as I did with this thing. This was my very first smart phone. But calling it smart is very misleading. Have a gawk: Yes, that is Cyanogenmod 7 you're looking at. This thing is SO tiny! Not only in actual size, but in hardware as well. I think there was about 80mb available storage on this thing. It has around 30gb ext storage, but these older versions of Android didn't allow for using ext storage for much. So... Needless to say, this thing was ALWAYS full.... Jam packed. I had to uninstall one thing to use another, and eventually nothing worked as the stock apps became larger. One thing I liked about this, tho, was that I, at some point, could uninstall whatever I wanted. Whi...

~ My Wife Went Shopping ~

Girls, I think I've finally done it! I think I've made my wife enjoy vaping!!! So. A few days ago, she actually agreed that we'd check out some equipment that could be right for her. This happened after I handed her the Vmate, and she loved it! So let's take a look at the result, shall we? Her very own collection of juices! The juices are as follows: Elegans Ejuice - Polkagris Elegans Ejuice - Gandalfs Pipetobakk Mono - Two I've mentioned the Polkagris earlier, as it is one of my favourites. She also really liked it, so we got her one for her self, and doubled the nic strength (in all of them). The Pipetobakk was. Weird... I don't enjoy the tobacco flavoured juices, as I don't really find tobacco to be very tasty at all. This thing is a little bit sweet, but I found it hard to really say much about the flavour, cause there wasn't a lot of it. The wife wasn't taken with it either, so I think this will be the first and last bottle. The Mono Two is mi...

~ Update: Wismec R40 ~

I don't know what to say. It never really gave me that "WOW" feeling. Sure, I liked it at first, as you can se per my previous post on it , but the joy faded. It's still pretty as hell. No doubt. And the flavour is nice - unless you take one draw too many. OH MY GIRL the amounts of time I've thought I'd fried the cotton on this thing. It literally devours juice. Before you know it, it's running on fumes. And because of questionable design flaws, you can't see how much juice is in there unless you pop the pod off. Which is tricky. No, not tricky. Just slightly annoying. It will slip and fall back onto the magnets, so you really have to grab it just right. Oh, there's the old familiar dry cotton again, after two puffs.... Yeah, no, I would not buy this thing again. I might've got a bad coil, but honestly girls, you've been doing this for a few years now. Produce non-faulty freaking coils, pls. It's not that hard. Just ask the girls who m...

~ Update: Vozol Whiz ~

I've used this thing for a while now, and you can check my initial thoughts on it if you follow  this link . I had an accident, and reset the puff count, but I shit you not, I'm still using the same coil that I put in there on January 22nd. The puff count was over 600 when I reset it, and now I've got it back up to 183, which means I've proably had close to 900 good puffs on it. 900 good puffs! I'm still using it every day, and I have to say it is still my fave pod. Sure, the Drag is meaner, but the R40 just...works... There's no bs. It just works, and works, and it wicks like a hero, and there's never any sense of burnt cotton, and it still tastes amazing. Just. Just get the freaking thing! The only con about ever getting this is that you have to charge it at least once a day, maybe more. But that takes like 30-40 minutes, so the hell cares, right? GET IT. I just wanted to let everyone know what an amazing piece of equipment it is. But still, don't let...

~ New Juices ~

Finally, my latest order has arrived! Nitro's Cold Brew Shakes, Strawberry & Cream Nitro's Cold Brew Coffee, Almond & Cappuccino Mystic Juice, Cream Latte Right now I have the Strawberry & Cream  on my Voopoo Drag X with the larger pod on it, on a coil at .15 ohms. It's almost sickly sweet. Almost. Some, I guess, would say it was sickly sweet, but I love my sweet dessert/custard/cream juices, so it's almost like the sweeter the better. I do have to point out one thing, and that is I THINK it's the cream that kind of makes it a little... off? It's not bad. Not at all. I have to vape it a little longer to gather my thoughts, I think. The Almond Cappuccino currently resides on my Valyrian II tank, with the .15 ohm coil. Sadly, I had some Apple Mint Acai on the tank previously, and I'm working on getting that taste out of the coil... It takes a while, but I get a good whiff of it, and it's actually not that bad with a little mint in it! xD The ...

~ Voopoo Drag X Pod Kit + Vmate Pod ~

OMG, I LOVE POD SYSTEMS!!! I just received my dual kit containing the Voopo Drag and Vmate Pod. How have I not discovered the magical, simple world of pods until now?? Anyway, let's get into it! We'll start with the Vmate Pod. And again, I just picked these up, so these are just my inital thoughts. Vmate Pod: So, this awesome little thing did stuff I wasn't expecting. First of all, it's super basic, restricted draw, non-removable coil, no buttons, no screens. Just suck and inhale. The first thing I noticed was the flavour. How does this little thing serve up that much flavour?? The second thing was the vapour production. I was NOT expecting this to deliver anything more than a very thin little vapour trail that would dissolve immediately. It actually delivered quite a bit more than that. Sure, it's not a cloud chasing machine, but this little fucker knows what's up! The most amazing thing about it, was that when I let my wife try it, she actually liked it. AND ...

~ Wismec R40 ~

It's here! :D The Wismec R40, fresh out of the mailbox this morning. I'm super excited! As I literally JUST started using it, I don't really have an in-depth review for it, but I'll publish my initial thoughts. Just LOOK at it! I got the Sapphire one, because it was glorious. Pre changing the colour theme on the screen. This thing is SO cute. And it came with about 70-80% charge, which allowed me to try it out right out of the box! (It does seem to only show full 10's of %, though, which is a little misleading). Looks and feel: It feels amazing. It has a heavyness to it, so that you know that you're holding something, and I'm sure it would hurt if I dropped it on my foot. I'm not going to test that theory, and just let it me a theory. It's nice to hold, and with my small hands, the form factor is great and the fire button is exactly where I need it to be. It's a stunner! You can't deny that. Sure, it's just a sticker behind the honey com...

~ PlayStation Classic Mod ~

We are all very grateful that Sony made the PlayStation Classic. We love it, and we are proud to own it. But that doesn't take away from the fact that we're a little bit disappointed in the games on it - and the number of games on it. So this is where we also say grace in honor of our nerds out there, who sit down and go through hours upon hours of programming and debugging to come up with a solution to big corp's shortcomings. Thank you, nerds. Wear it as a badge of honor! The world would be a sad place without you! I'm not going to go into detail here, as a simple google search will lead you right where you want to go. I will just mention what I used, and a few tricks I had to look up in order to get it going properly. Also, if that wasn't clear to everyone - This is MODDING your Classic. It can brick, and you are the only one responsible for it. Not me, not the developers, not Sony. Just you. I first found my way to BleemSync, but I'm not going to linger on ...

~ Vozol Whiz ~

Oh my. Those were the first words to escape my lips as I exhaled my first draw on this amazing little warrior! I was pleasantly surprised, as I hadn't expected much. My only other Pod experience was the Eleaf iCare, and as much as I loved that little thing, it didn't really pack much of a punch; not flavour wise, nor cloud wise. But this thing. This thing surprised the shit out of me! Little Whis 7 puffs in. First of all, the size is perfect. It's not too big to fit in the pocket, and it's not so small it just gets lost if you look away. It has decent weight to it. You can feel it in your hand, which I know I like with my devices. I depend a lot on my hands, and I like knowing that I'm holding something. By no means is it heavy, but you know it's there. The flat, wide mouthpiece is a massive plus for me. I love the shape of them, and the placement of the button is perfect for my hands. Not that you have to use the button at all. Cause you don't, cause this ...

~ Aegis Legend Zeus Kit, Valyrian II, Vaporesso GTX One ~

In DecemberI kinda lost my cool a little. Vaping wise. I went on a terrible shopping spree. Terrible. I didn't get a lot of new mods and tanks. No. I got juice. So much juice. And batteries. And I even made a few batches of homemade juice. And I've got more coming, cause I've tried fruits now and need to move on to creamy things. It's bad. It's very bad. Also, I ordered a pod system the other day. Here come a few snaps of my latest endeavours: Said to be sweet and gentle. I mixed too much nic in it, so I have to blend it out a bit. We'll see after that. My lovely smelling cupboard where I keep all my treasure. My daily setup. Pipe is awaiting new coils atm. Didn't replace for a year! This juice was supposed to be smooth, but to me it burns and makes me cough. Bought these for my mom, and I think she finds them ok. A sneeky dog that wasn't supposed to be on here. A very nice all day vape, but massive coil killer! Valyrian II on my old RX200. One for me, a...

~ PlayStation Classic ~

My parents really DO love me! :D I got the PlayStation Classic for xmas, and I was SO happy about that! I've truly missed this grey little munchkin. That being said, I am very disappointed in Sony for slacking when making these. There were SO many classic games that just simply weren't there at all. I'm talking Crash Bandicoot and the likes. Still, I was happy to see Resident Evil, Rayman and Tekken 3 made the list. Of course, as with all things I'm not 100% satisfied with, I'm going to have to try cracking some more games into this thing. And I've found a neat little "how to" that I'm going to try. I'm not going to be messing with the file system. I'll go with the much simpler USB stick solution. I'm sure I'll post updates when I get around to this, but I don't really feel like I'm doing much but waking up in the morning, blinking, then going back to bed, thesse days. I don't have time for anything, cause everything is...

~ Canon EOS 2000D & Sony Alpha 6000 ~

Yeah. So. I got a couple of cameras. I had mentioned to my wife that I wanted a camera, and without me knowing, she'd taken that to heart, and purchased one with the help of our photographer neighbor. She got me the Canon one. Meanwhile, I'd been off looking at cameras myself, with the help of my photographer coworker, and found the Sony one. One day when I decided I was done looking, and had found something within my price range as a noob, I texted my wife and told her this. She told me we should talk about it later. That afternoon, I reminded her. And then she had to tell me there was a camera on it's way already. The thing is, when I've set my mind on something, it has to be that way. So eventually I ended up with two cameras, and I don't know how to properly take pictures with either of them.... xD These are both fairly cheap cameras for beginners, but I'll see if I can find some specs for them. After completely messing up this entry by pasting a bunch ...

~ Wacom Intuos Pro ~

A little while before the holidays, I finally found the time to sit down with my old tablet. I'd bought a full version of Corel PainShop Pro, and was eager to give it a go. Alas. My old Bamboo was...too old for Windows 10... :( Which just gave me a great excuse to look for a new one. And as I love Wacom, it had to be a Wacom. And because tech has moved a lot since I got my first Wacom board 11 years ago, I wanted one that reflected some of the change, and would maybe last me 10 more years? I ended up on the Intuos Pro. It's a glorious little gadget! What I love most about it is that you can use it wirelessly. Less cables getting in the way! I've only been using it wirelessly so far, although I haven't had enough time with it at all. But it respons great, and you can pretty much set up any button to function how you want it to. Boot up software, run commands, etc. I'll post the specs here, but I'm not translating them. www.komplett.no Spesifikasjoner Generelt Gar...

~ A Little Hardware Update ~

Woah. I forgot about this poor thing. Meanwhile, a world of things has happened. I noticed my last entry was about the HP Laptop I bought. Oh woman, was that a complete waste of money... Long story shot: It started overheating. I opened it to have a look and the insides were heat damaged, coming from the GPU. I sent it in and told them what needed to be fixed, but apparently they didn't like having a woman tell them about tech stuff (OR that I told them this was well within warranty), so they kept it for an incredible number of weeks. They eventually returned it, having fixed what I told them to fix... Which gave me a little giggle, cause they told me that wasn't the issue... Also, no charge, as it should be. Anyhoo, I got it back in a beat up box, and there were little (but noticeable) damages to the exterior of the laptop. I reported it, cause that's NOT what you should expect from techs "fixing" your equipment. The store I bought it from used an external compa...
